In April of 2007, Provost Linda Katehi asked several staff members in the Provost's office to form a working team in order to start the Self-Study process. The Working Team in turn created a structure through which the Self-Study would take place. Five committees with faculty, staff and administrators as members will conduct much of the Self-Study and write reports on their work. The committees are charged with looking at units, activities, policies and procedures associated with one of five goals specified in the campus strategic plan. The Working Team will then develop the Self-Study report based on the findings of the five committees. The committees will be asked to review the Self-Study as well as to participate in the visit by the HLC review team in 2009.
