A minimum of 123 hours of credit is required for graduation. Students are advised that additional course work may be necessary to teach middle grades six through eight and foreign languages in grades nine through twelve. Consult the certification officer in Room 130 Education Building for details.
Departmental Distinction: The requirements for graduation with distinction in the teaching of Russian are the same as for graduation with distinction in the Russian Language and Literature major.
General Education Requirements: Students must consult their program and teacher education advisers for current general education requirements.

1. The total of 44 hours may be reduced by as much as 16 hours through prerequisite credit for work equivalent to RUSS 101 through 104 taken in secondary school.
