The M.B.A. program begins in the fall semester only. Admissions decisions
are made on a rolling basis beginning in January. International applications
should be received by February 1; domestic applications should be
received by April 1. To be considered as a “priority applicant,”

Master of Business Administration
The Illinois M.B.A. curriculum consists of 72 graduate hours and features
an integrated core of 40 graduate hours. Students
select a concentration from the following
options: finance, general management, information technology, marketing, or operations management. The Illinois M.B.A. emphasizes co-curricular
activities designed to complement classroom experiences while further
developing leadership skills. Activities include communications, teamwork,
and self-awareness workshops, technical training in current computer
software, and career services with a focus on internships and permanent
placements.
M.B.A. students (aside from those participating in approved joint
degree programs) must enroll on a full-time basis during the fall
and spring semesters of both the first and second years of the M.B.A.
program. During the summer, students are expected to participate in
internships.
