INTERDISCIPLINARY MINOR IN JEWISH CULTURE AND SOCIETY

The Committee on Jewish Culture and Society, under the aegis of the Program for the Study of Religion, offers an interdisciplinary minor as a complement to the major for any student enrolled in a major in the Science and Letters Curriculum in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. On the recommendation of the Director of the Program for the Study of Religion, the Dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences will verify that the student has completed the minor.

Of the twenty-four required hours, two courses (6 hours) must be 200 level courses approved for advanced hours or 300 level courses.

No more than 6 hours (two courses) may be at the 100 level.

A minimum grade-point average of 2.75 is required for completion of the minor.

The twenty-four hours selected by students for a minor in Jewish Culture and Society should form a coherent program and must be approved by the adviser of the Program for the Study of Religion or the chair of the Committee on Jewish Culture and Society, acting as deputy.
