The curriculum in sculpture requires 122 credit hours and provides
a broad and solid foundation in the fundamental disciplines of
drawing, design, and painting, including both traditional and
contemporary concepts. The learning of the time-honored techniques of
sculpture such as modeling and carving is required, and
experimentation with welding, metal casting, and plastics is
fostered. The student is encouraged to experience a wide range of
materials, techniques, methods, and styles.
